You can setup an email program to check your Rabbit Net email account. Settings:
incomming mail (or POP3) is "mail.rabbit.com.au"
outgoing mail (or SMPT) is "mail.rabbit.com.au"
Setup for Outlook Express
1. Open Outlook Express. Select Tools.
2. From the list that drops down select "Accounts". Then to add your
Rabbit mail account select the "Add" button.
3. Type in your name. This is the name you want other people to see when they are getting your emails. Its normally just your actual name or maybe even your business name.

Click "Next"
4. Type in your email address. Your email address is normally your Username with the Rabbit Net domain "@rabbit.com.au" added to the end. If your Username with Rabbit Net was "jsmith" then your email address would become "jsmith@rabbit.com.au".
Click "Next"
5. Outlook Express needs to know what server (computer at our building) holds your emails and which one will be responsible for sending your emails out. The same computer at Rabbit Net handles both. Enter "mail.rabbit.com.au" for both incomming and outgoing mail.

Click "Next"
6. Outlook Express needs to know which mailbox on our mail server holds your mail. The "Account name" or mailbox is the first part of your email address. If your email address with Rabbit Net was "jsmith@rabbit.com.au" then your "Account name" would be "jsmith". Also enter your password. It will be covered by stars for security. You don't need to change anything else on this page.

Click "Next"
7. Now just click the "Finish" button to complete your email account.

8. You now need activate authentication, from Tools and Accounts you will now see something like this;
9. Select properties,
10. Select the server tab and place a tick in the box next to "My server requires authentication" then click ok and close.
11. Try connecting to Rabbit Net, open Outlook Express and hit the "Send/Recieve" button to test your settings. If you are a new user with Rabbit Net then you email account will not be fully operational until it has received its first incomming email. Send yourself and email and see if it comes back to you when you check your mail again in a few minutes.
